What is a Quilting Retreat?

A quilting retreat is usually a set number of days (weekdays or weekends) that are totally focussed on dedicated sewing-quilting time.  It can be held at any location such as at a hosted venue, a person’s home,  a guild location, a cruise ship or a tropical island ( now that would be a fantastic retreat!)   A retreat can be a small group of friends, members of a quilting guild or large gathering of quilting enthusiasts.  In any case,  it is a time where quilters gather to sew, learn, share, relax, laugh and enjoy time together.
