You Deserve a Great Quilting Retreat!
At Quilting in New England (QNE), our goal is to provide a place for all quilting enthusiasts to join together to share their love of this art. We do this with our Social Networking and through our yearly Quilting Retreats. We began this journey in 2009 and it continues to be a fun adventure!
QNE does not host your standard quilting retreat. Our retreats are not just a place to go to quilt but are a place to experience the joy of quilting. Over the years, we’ve come to appreciate how enriching the interaction of like-minded people can be and a retreat brings together that valuable experience.
Sharing our Love of Quilting
Our retreats are all about sharing – sharing our talents, our knowledge, our enthusiasm, and especially our love of quilting.
- We spend a good deal of time researching, visiting, and planning our retreats.
- We hand-select each venue, after personal visits and many discussions with the host, so that we can provide you with your own creative space, comfortable accommodations, and good food, all at a reasonable cost.
- We also take a tour of the area to see what is available for sites, shopping, and things to do, as this all adds up to a fun, inspiring, and enjoyable retreat experience.
- We offer 3-day and 4-day options, depending on the venue.
- We partner with talented instructors that share our enthusiasm and desire to share their talents.
This year we have added a few more workshop retreats to our line-up and as time goes by, we will be adding more retreats and fun options. We hope you will join us!

From traditional techniques to creative finishes, this hands-on workshop will help you gain confidence and make quilt finishing far less stressful — and a lot more enjoyable.
Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or finally conquer those tricky corners and smooth finishes, this workshop will help make quilt completion feel more polished, satisfying, and stress-free.
Join us for a spirited weekend retreat where every quilter leaves with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind finished project — and no idea what it will look like until they start! Each participant will select a sealed mystery bag (no peeking!) containing a pattern, fabric, batting, and backing for a table runner or table topper. There's no need to worry about coordinating fabrics—every project is complete, unique, and ready to sew. This retreat is for anyone who loves sewing, quilting, and needlework. Catch up on quilting projects, sew bags and totes, work on holiday home décor, or settle into needlework arts like cross-stitch, embroidery, and appliqué. Bring your crafting friends along, and count on a few ideas and projects to share along the way.
