You Deserve a Great Quilting Retreat!
At Quilting in New England (QNE), our goal is to provide a place for all quilting enthusiasts to join together to share their love of this art. We do this with our Social Networking and through our yearly Quilting Retreats. We began this journey in 2009 and it continues to be a fun adventure!
QNE does not host your standard quilting retreat. Our retreats are not just a place to go to quilt but are a place to experience the joy of quilting. Over the years, we’ve come to appreciate how enriching the interaction of like-minded people can be and a retreat brings together that valuable experience.
Sharing our Love of Quilting
Our retreats are all about sharing – sharing our talents, our knowledge, our enthusiasm, and especially our love of quilting.
- We spend a good deal of time researching, visiting, and planning our retreats.
- We hand-select each venue, after personal visits and many discussions with the host, so that we can provide you with your own creative space, comfortable accommodations, and good food, all at a reasonable cost.
- We also take a tour of the area to see what is available for sites, shopping, and things to do, as this all adds up to a fun, inspiring, and enjoyable retreat experience.
- We offer 3-day and 4-day options, depending on the venue.
- We partner with talented instructors that share our enthusiasm and desire to share their talents.
This year we have added a few more workshop retreats to our line-up and as time goes by, we will be adding more retreats and fun options. We hope you will join us!

Join us for a special Mother's Day weekend quilting retreat where you can sew, relax, and spend the weekend at the beautiful Golden Eagle Lodge in Waterville Valley, NH. As is customary for our retreats, we will offer optional, informational demos/talks to provide helpful hints & techniques This Spring quilting retreat will be an open-sew program, and, as customary, we have some fun instructional programs planned. This retreat will be a great time to finish those UFOs or start that project you have been planning. You will have the opportunity to spend time working on the projects you choose; meet fellow quilters; relax at a friendly Inn; have some delicious food (you don't need to prepare), and best of all, have dedicated, uninterrupted sewing time. While this is an open-sew weekend, where you can work on your own projects, we will be offering mini-lectures/demos throughout the weekend. You can sign up for a 30-minute optional program. We also have tips and tricks to help problem-solve and make quilting more enjoyable. If you are a beginner quilter, we will have some information to help you on your way.
This retreat will also be a great time to finish those UFOs or start that project you have been planning.
