Does a retreat only provide time to sew?

A quilting retreat provides so much more than just time to sew!

• It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and spend time with others who share in a common interest and passion.  Many of our QNE retreater have found other quilters at a retreat that have become lifelong friends.  
• It is the chance to learn, share and develop new skills. Whether it is a workshop retreat or an open-sew retreat, there is always something new to discover. Fellow retreaters often share tips or techniques which provide insights or common issues that we can all relate to.
• A retreat also provides a break from day to day distractions that can keep you from having the time to sew and quilt.  Unlike a quilting class that has a set agenda and timeframe, a retreat is free-flowing: a time to unwind, relax and enjoy the art of quilting.
• It may be an opportunity to site-see and explore a new area.  We choose our venues carefully so that they are located in areas that provide people with places of interest, history, and inspiration.
